Viewers the world over will recognize Pedro Andrade as one of the most popular Hosts on LX.TV-NBC. He is listed in Paper Magazine's Mr. Mickey's Guide to the Hottest Men in Manhattan. 

Pedro originally hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where he began his acting career at the early age of 7. He has appeared on numerous commercials, TV shows & movies throughout Latin American and the United States. 

A student of journalism, Pedro originally came to the United States on a Poetry scholarship. He permanently emigrated to the US when he was discovered by famed photographer, Mario Testino. His striking good looks helped him rise quickly to become one of High Fashion's top male models.

He comes from an impressive line of socially and environmentally conscious and artistic people: His grandfather, Hermogenes Andrade, is the biggest Yoga Guru in Latin America with over 15 books published on Yoga. His father, Jose-Homero Andrade, is a painter. His mother, Ana-Lucia Cunha, is a lawyer. And finally, his godmother, Maria Thereza Andrade, worked for Brazil’s Congress & the United Nations.

Through volunteer work, donations and special appearances, Pedro supports a number of humanitarian causes such as Cancer Research, AIDS Research, Environmental Preservation, as well as a number of children's charities such as the Make a Wish Foundation and Big  Brother. In 2007, this incredibly philanthropic young man and his dog, Miles, appear alongside the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Gisele Bundchen & Kelly Ripa in Pose For Paws, a coffee table book by famed photographer Brian Nice benefiting the Humane Society.
