actor with a solid foundation for all medium: from TV to live
Theatre; utilizing imagination rather than recall to tell the
story.
Using Meisner based exercises such as Repetition, Independent
Activity and Emotional Preparation, the actor develops the
skills for living truthfully in an imaginary situation. In
addition, this class teaches the actor how to apply their newly
developed instrument to bringing the written text to life.

with actors with a Meisner background. It is an efficient way to
deliver results in a brief amount of time.

Sanford Meisner is one of the charter members of the Group Theatre who set out to create his own "Method" of training actors. Today, the Meisner technique is widely used & much preferred by actors who must bring the text to life quickly and fully. Time: 6:30-9:30pm each week
Rate: $140/month - 12 week course.
Note: One hour make up classes is mandatory for nay
missed classes. (Make up classes must be taken within 2 weeks of
the missed class. Schedule of the make up classes is flexible.)
